Shannan has directed and/or choreographed for Regis University for the past 20 years, and has choreographed for Littleton Town Hall Arts Center and The Arvada Center summer teen programs.

Traci Kern is thrilled to be making her debut at Cherry Creek Theatre by music directing these hard working, crazy-talented ladies! She has music directed many shows from Denver to NYC to the Fringe Festival in Scotland, including The Nance, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Seussical the Musical, High School Musical, A Year with Frog & Toad, Nunsense A-Men, Wonderful Town, and How To Succeed… In the past, Traci was the co-music director for Magic Moments productions, vocal coach for Phamaly’s production of The Wiz, and assistant music director for their productions of Beauty and the Beast, Man of La Mancha and Urinetown The Musical! In addition to music directing, Traci is also a prolific performer. Her first role in Denver was at Town Hall Arts Center in 1999 as Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors. Receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of South Dakota and her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado, Traci has been a professional voice teacher and performer for over 20 years and currently maintains a full-time voice studio in Denver.

She is a recent Henry Award nominee for her portrayal of Serena in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess at the Aurora Fox. You may have seen her in the one-woman show Hi-Hat Hattie this past holiday season. Sarah was in a national tour of Footloose, she has toured in over 20 countries and 47 states. She has performed as lead singer on Celebrity Cruises and at the Alabama Theatre (South Carolina). Her local credits include: Woman #1 in Forbidden Broadway and Five Course Love (DCPA Galleria); Paulette in Legally Blonde, The Narrator in Joseph…Dreamcoat, Ellen in Miss Saigon and Candy in Saturday Night Fever (Arvada Center); Lady of the Lake in Spamalot (Aurora Fox).
