The Colorado Theatre Guild announced nominations for the 2018 Henry Awards Tuesday.
Cherry Creek Theatre’s stirring production of A Picasso garnered two nominations:
- Logan Ernstthal, Outstanding Actor in a Play
- Logan Ernstthal & Susie Roelofsz, Outstanding Ensemble Performance
In addition to A Picasso’s nominations, My Name is Asher Lev director Bernie Cardell was thrice nominated for his direction of August: Osage County (Vintage Theatre) and Sleuth (Vintage Theatre/Spotlight Theater). Cardell is also the artistic director of Vintage Theatre which was nominated for Outstanding Season for a Theatre Company.

- Tina Anderson, Outstanding Scenic Design Tier 2 (Going to a Place Where You Already Are, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company)
- Stephen Day, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Arvada Center)
- Gavin Mayer, Outstanding Production of a Musical and Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Arvada Center)
- Susannah McLeod, Outstanding Actress in a Musical (Fun Home, Miners Alley Playhouse)
- Megan Van De Hey, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical (Fun Home, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College)
