Dear CCT Family,
The past two and half years have indeed been chaotic! While the pandemic has often left us feeling isolated and alone, I never felt that loneliness in a theatre. I relish sharing those moments with friends and strangers by my side to laugh, cry, and connect. Art, indeed, has brought order to my life, and I hope it has to yours, too.
After five years on the board — two as Chair — I officially passed the torch this week to our new Board Chair, Judy Todd. She is a tremendous asset to CCT and will continue the tradition of professional theatre with neighborhood hospitality with the staff and board.
As a parting gift, I wanted to give you a sneak peek at the 2023 season… starting with a celestial classic in the winter, continuing with an acclaimed world premiere in the spring, and wrapping our 13th season with a musical revue with something for everyone in the fall. Tickets on sale soon!
I’m going to go donate right now to make our fall production, Peter and the Starcatcher, soar! Will you join me?
Thank you for everything over the past few years — your generosity and support, your kindness and warmth. Your laughter, tears, and lobby dance parties.
All my best,
Matt Meier, CCT Chair, 2020–2022
