Matt is very active within the arts community and is a strong supporter of arts & culture. He began attending CCT productions in 2014 and joined the board three years later. Matt served as board chair from 2020–2022. He grew up in the theatre, both on stage and off, and spent two seasons at the Williamstown Theatre Festival after graduation from the University of Evansville. As owner & creative director of Ligature Creative, Matt designs brands, key art, and websites for arts organizations across the country including the SCFD, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Central City Opera, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and productions both on and off-Broadway.
In 2016, he was recognized by CBCA for his work in arts & culture with their Cultural Leadership Award, and he earned an Emmy Award for producing “Playing Out,” a webseries for the Denver Philharmonic. He recently relocated to Ohio with his partner, David.
