Tara is so thrilled to be back at Cherry Creek Theatre after directing Steel Magnolias in the 2021 Season. For over 25 years, Tara has been a professional actor in NYC, and across the country. Broadway: Metamorphoses, The Constant Wife (with Lynn Redgrave) and Enchanted April (with Elizabeth Ashley and Jane Atkinson). Off-Broadway: This Is Our Youth (with Mark Ruffalo) and There’s The Story at Blue Heron Theater. Regionally: Most recently seen in You Lost Me and Sweat at The Denver Center, McCarter Theater, Long Wharf Theater, Hartford Stage, Eugene O’Neill, Curious Theater Company, Cleveland Playhouse, Rep. Theater of St. Louis, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and more. TV: “The Black Donnellys,” “As The World Turns,” “Guiding Light,” and numerous commercials and voice overs. Training: Boston University College of Fine Arts and British American Dramatic Academy. Teaching: Girls’ Write with Athena Project Teaching Artist at The Denver Center and a Responder with Denver University Prison Arts Initiative.
