A celebration of the American Theatre
We’re thrilled to announce our 13th season, opening with Eugene O’Neill’s tragically beautiful A Moon for the Misbegotten. Class may divide them, but steeped in grief, loneliness, and isolation after war and a pandemic, a poor farmer and her rich landlord may have more in common than they think.
Grown out of our new-play reading series, we couldn’t be more excited to produce the world premiere of The Headliners by Jeffrey Neuman. This acclaimed play by a local playwright was a finalist for the prestigious 2021 O’Neill Award.
Closing the season in the fall, we’ll present an encore of the hit musical revue, Sondheim on Sondheim. The late composer made countless contributions to the American Musical Theatre canon, and now, you’ll hear from Steve in his own words! Enjoy exclusive video interviews interspersed with dozens of songs from his half-century career — from your favorite numbers to first drafts and songs cut from the scores you know and love!
