Dear Cherry Creek Theatre Family,
We’re excited about the future of Cherry Creek Theatre.
Over the past decade, Maxine & Mark Rossman’s vision of a professional theatre company in Cherry Creek has grown into reality. Now, with your support, we will continue to reach new heights.
We are preparing to come back strong. We’re optimistic that we can safely reopen next spring. But before we can congregate in person, however, we are exploring options to bring you virtual performances that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home this fall and winter.
We are dreaming about 2022 and beyond. New plays excite us, and while we will continue to produce the American classics you know and love, we want to explore the viability of a new-play reading series to tell a new generation’s stories on stage and add a fourth fully-staged production to our season lineup to bring you more quality, thought-provoking, professional theatre.
We are listening to artists of color. We are not immune to unintended systemic racism in the theatre industry, and we promise to do better moving forward. We will make every effort to produce more plays written by Black, Indigenous and People of Color; we will continue to hire more actors, directors, and designers of color to reflect the diversity in our community.
We can achieve our goals with your financial support.
Please join us with a donation in honor of our founders, Maxine & Mark Rossman.
Your suggested gift of $500 to join the Founders’ Circle will help to support local artists; foster community and conversation; and produce quality, thought-provoking, professional theatre right here in your neighborhood for seasons to come.
