David Kincannon appears as Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher. The last time you saw him on the CCT stage was in our 2015 production of Sondheim on Sondheim. David is thrilled to be back for the beauty and wonder of Peter and the Starcatcher.
Where were you born?
St. Louis, MO
How long have you been in the business?
I’ve been acting since 3rd grade, but I’ve been doing it in Denver for paying audiences since 2004 when I appeared in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Castle Rock.
Favorite role to date and why?
Sweeney Todd…I am a huge fan of Sondheim, and performing “Epiphany” was a highlight of my life in the theater. The range of emotions an actor has to tap into in that role is exciting.
Role you are dreaming of playing and why?
The dual role of Georges/George in Sunday in the Park With George. I think it is the best work that Sondheim ever did, and it would be an honor to sing those songs.
Favorite food and why?
Steak…no…cheeseburgers…no…pizza. Probably pizza. It’s the perfect food to share with friends, whether you’re watching a sporting event, playing board/video games, or just hanging out. (But I do love a good steak.)
