Tuesdays With Morrie
One of The Denver Post’s “must-see fall plays in Colorado”
When Morrie Schwartz is diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Mitch makes time in his busy schedule to pay respects to his favorite college mentor. Unable to resist Morrie’s charm, Mitch returns every week for a few last lessons from the retired professor on life, love, and what it means to say goodbye. Based on the bestselling true story, the heartfelt Tuesdays with Morrie “just might change your life” (New York Magazine).
Tuesdays with Morrie is presented as part of the 2019 Neustadt JAAMM (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies, & Music) Festival at the JCC Denver. The festival presents artistic work from around the world through a uniquely Jewish perspective. This year’s line-up includes the acclaimed stand-up comedian Judy Gold, MSNBC’s Ari Melber, Jewish contemporary pop artist Taali, and much more! - Chris Kendall, Best Supporting Actor in a Play
Cherry Creek Theatre made the smart move and secured the services of Chris Kendall, one of the area’s finest actors, for the role of Morrie. Often, he’s reason enough for the price of a ticket.
