Mike is excited to direct his first production for Cherry Creek Theatre. Additional productions he’s directed in Colorado include 39 Steps, Two Dumb Dogs, Guys on Ice, and Greater Tuna for Breckenridge Backstage Theatre. Other notable productions include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Educating Rita, Lion in Winter, Man of La Mancha, Proof, The Robber Bridegroom, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead and Twelfth Night. Mike served four seasons as the Artistic Director at the Paul Bunyan Playhouse in Minnesota. Recent scenery designs in Colorado include: Toxic Avenger, Henry nominated Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike for Breckenridge Backstage Theatre; 42nd Street at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse; Beowulf — a thousand years of baggage for The Catamounts; Baby Dance, Red Hot and Cole for Cherry Creek Theatre; Jungle Book for Denver Children’s Theatre; American Idiot for Ignite Theatre; as well as productions for the MACC and Phamaly Theatre Company.
