Jeffrey Parker is an associate professor of theatre at Metropolitan State University of Denver where he teaches voice, speech, acting, and musical theatre. Prior to his arrival to Denver in 2014, he performed all across the country on national tours, Off-Broadway, and at theatres in his home state of California. Here in Denver, he has been seen as Leo Bloom in The Producers (Performance Now), Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods (Phamaly Theatre), Jekyll/Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde (Aurora Fox), and more. Other favorite roles include George in Sunday in the Park with George, Jon in Tick, Tick… Boom!, and Frankie in Forever Plaid. When not performing or teaching, Jeffrey is a notable voice/text/dialect coach, having coached at nearly every theatre in the Denver area including DCPA, The Arvada Center, and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (where he serves as director of voice and text.)
