Emily A. Maddox attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her BFA in drama in 2014. This is Emily’s 3rd production with Cherry Creek Theatre. Her previous Cherry Creek designs were The Headliners, & A Moon for the Misbegotten. Emily has had the privilege of working in 51 different theatres and performance spaces throughout Colorado in her time here. Her recent designs include In the Heights, Tick, Tick, Boom, & The Piano Teacher (Vintage Theatre) A Mexican Trilogy: Charity, & Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly (Firehouse Theater Company), The Little Prince (Lamont Opera Theatre), Spring Awakening & Vox Vergere (Phamaly Theatre Company), The Belle of Amherst (Clover and Bee Productions), Chicago (Actors Academy for The Performing Arts), HeLa (Community College of Aurora), The Royale (Butterfly Effect Theatre of Colorado), As One, The Three Feathers, Company, & La Boheme (Opera Steamboat), & Puerto Rican Nocturne (The Bug Theatre). In addition to lighting design, Emily also works as the Master Electrician for Town Hall Arts Center in Littleton and Vintage Theatre in Aurora.
