Chris has served as a director and officer for Colorado arts nonprofit organizations for the last 20 years. He’s got extensive experience in nonprofit business administration and over 30 years of arts production experience. Chris has been a Colorado resident for 25 years, 23 of those on Colorado’s Western Slope in Crested Butte, Telluride, and Ouray. Chris’ dedication to the arts and arts education has led him down some remarkable paths in his career and he continues to advocate for the arts and arts education as increasingly important in today’s complicated world. Chris’ current role as director is driven by a desire to fill the arts gap by presenting diverse and inclusive programming that engages, teaches, and inspires. In his career, Chris has been involved with preservation and capital improvement campaigns for historic theaters, the development of new strategies to engage audiences, and youth artist development and support.
