The Colorado Theatre Guild Announces Nominees for the 14th Annual Henry Awards
14th Annual Gala Honors Outstanding Achievements of Colorado’s Theatre Community
The Colorado Theatre Guild’s 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019, at the Lone Tree Arts Center.
Established in 2006, the Henry Awards honor outstanding achievements during the past season and serves as the Colorado Theatre Guild’s annual fundraising event. The awards are named for longtime local theatre producer Henry Lowenstein. Nominations are determined through a judging process conducted by more than 100 statewide peer professionals, academics/educators and other theatre lovers.
Cherry Creek Theatre received four nominations for its 2019 production of A Little Night Music:
- Outstanding Direction of a Musical – Kelly Van Oosbree
- Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical – Jeremy Rill (Count Carl Magnus)
- Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical – Megan Van De Hey (Countess Charlotte Malcolm)
- Outstanding Costume Design Tier 2 – Kelly Gregson
Other Cherry Creek artists who were nominated for their work at other theaters in the community include Bernie Cardell, Pamela Clifton, M. Curtis Grittner, Trent Hines, David Nehls, and Beki Pineda. Congratulations to all the nominees!
